Created attachment 125651 [details] image moved with arrows down Sometime (don't have found yet which action causes this) image made of draw element (square / text / arrows ...) gets corrupted in the following manner: all arrows from image are moved to stick at the bottom of the page whereas all other elements remains in place. It seems to occurs when removing some content in the previous page that require my image to move from a page to the other in order to follow the page. Or when copy / paste of image is performed. This is first very annoying because all arrows needs to be put back in place manually but worst than they can't be selected so it is impossible to put them back in place. Not sure if they can't be selected because they overlap with the footer section or because they have become ghost elements but I have not found any workaround rather than copy / pasting all my document into another empty one to get rid of this. Here attached is a snapshot of the result where you can find all my arrows down. Note: arrows have been redrawn manually in my image so they look doubled here but originally they were only down and no more present in the image above It occurs approx three / four time a month when I write document of this kind (with individual draw elements). It doesn't occur if image elements are grouped. Its the first time I report this behavior but it used to occur since libreoffice 4 from memories.
Please also attach an example document so we can quickly test. Set to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the document.
Created attachment 125766 [details] writer document with few forms
Created attachment 125767 [details] writer document with corrupted form On this document the last triangle has been deleted and the line on it has jumped into the footer section
After further testing, the problem seems to occur when using a background image anchored as character with a another draw element on it (the latest being anchored by default (to paragraph in my case). Deleted the background element makes the first layer draw elements probably lost and it jumps to footer. In my attached document you can use the document "writer document with few forms" and go to last page. Delete the triangle form and the line on it jumps to footer. NOTE: should I open another bug report or not for this: If you press CTRL + Z after deleting the triangle two triangles appear with another location. Very strange.
(In reply to francois.le-foll from comment #4) > In my attached document you can use the document "writer document with few > forms" and go to last page. Delete the triangle form and the line on it > jumps to footer. I reproduce the problem. For me, after deleting there remains another triangle in place of the deleted one. Note that if you move the triangle somewhat before deleting, the line does not jump. > NOTE: should I open another bug report or not for this: > If you press CTRL + Z after deleting the triangle two triangles appear with > another location. Very strange. Yes. You can paste the link to the new report in the "See Also" field in this report. still reproducible as in comment 4 with: Version: 7.3.0.0.beta1 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 436f14c25ec1847646b953cf13d0db4f7ca3be57 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Once the triangle is deleted, another remains. Deleting that other one brings the line back up.
Still reproducible. Ctrl + z after creates more of an issue as mentioned. Attempting to close the file after using ctrl + z does not result in a popup, but reopening the file shows only one triangle. That single triangle is now missing the line however.
