Would be great to have an option to set the last line to 5 or more characters. 

Only way now is to change the hyphenation settings which really isn't how it should work.

I've thought there must surely be some technical 
problem in implementation?

I think fudging spaces between characters + setting
the last line as min. % of full line length would work
well enough?

Speaking of fudging, I also don't know why nonbrea-
king space is a fixed size. I'm well aware that LO is 
not a DTP, but it would help tremendously with the 
layout flow, and I see no reason for the fixed width
(by default, may be useful for names though).
