Many page breaks after the end
Comment 4 Regina Henschel 2016-06-27 17:28:21 UTC
The file "Many page breaks after the end" has these import errors:

There is a wrong spacing after paragraph for the lines in the list on the first page. The line "Plastic Spoon" has a space after, where no one should be, and the line "Paint" misses a space after.

The document has a lot of white placeholder images. They are scaled in the original file, but not scaled after import.

The original file has one-row tables and empty lines between them. These empty lines are missing after import.

@ekari: Please try to address only one problem in an issue and write a new report for the next problem.

For the tests I have used Word 2010 on Windows and LibreOffice Version: 5.2.0.0.beta2

@regina I have like 1000 microsoft files to search for problems and report, is there a way to dump the files in a xz archive here or I have to report them 1 by 1? And you want me to open a new issue with what files?
Comment 7 Regina Henschel 2016-06-27 18:40:02 UTC
@ekari: You are welcome to help us making the import filter better. Unfortunately I'm not so deeply involved in QA to tell you the best work-flow. On the one hand it is good to get lot of example files, on the other hand it is needed to isolate a problem as far as possible. Perhaps you can ask on libreoffice-qa@lists.freedesktop.org?
Comment 8 E.Mi 2016-06-29 10:40:20 UTC
Thanks, I have sent a mail to the mailing list,
you have not answered me, do you want me
to open a new bug report for the vodafone files
present here?
Comment 9 Regina Henschel 2016-06-29 13:07:42 UTC
Yes. Keep this issue for the document "Many page breaks after the end" and write a new issue for the documents "Another example" and "contrato.doc".

A first glance shows, that the documents "Another example" and "contrato.doc" are protected with password. That problem is different from the errors in the file "Many page breaks after the end".
