User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:47.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/47.0
Build Identifier: 5.1.4.2 64 bit

On opening a document in one of the MS formats the word and character counts are zero until after the first edit. ODF formats show these counts on opening.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open any .doc or .docx object
Actual Results:
Word and character counts are not shown

Expected Results:
Counts should be shown

Counts appear immediately if the document is edited.
It's minor, but the difference in behaviour is confusing and hopefully easy to fix.
Haven't checked if it's a regression.

Is this a regression from previous versions? Is it still an issue in 5.2? http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/
Comment 2 MM 2016-07-08 18:47:00 UTC
Might be the same as bug 94570 , so should work for v5.2. But somehow it's not backported to v5.1 yet.

Yes, works in 5.2.0.1 just installed to test.

Sorry for the noise.
