In 5.1.4.2. a chapter of my book 452pp) was just under 2 pages. Now it is slightly more and cannot by reduced by any normal tricks. File will be submiited if found helpful.

Is the error in 5.1.5?

Attaching the file would be nice, if you can share it publicly.

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists in 5.1.5. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.

Please examine the Paragraph styles you are using looking closely at the Indents & Spacing tab's Spacing: Above paragraph, Below paragraph and Line Spacing: value--especially if it is proportional. Also check check the Text Flow tab's Options: settings for Orphan Control and Widow Control.

Minor shifts in any of these settings can cause the growth.
