A screen shot of the problem

Clicking on a formula while producing a presentation, the opening box in the bottom does not fill the whole horizontal space but gets overlapped with graphics from the window visible before opening the formula. In particular, the cursor disappears under the wrong graphics. This can be partially solved by sliding vertically the box size.
