PPTX with WordArt

The attached PPTX has WordArt with white fill and black outline.
In Impress this is imported as normal white text which makes it invisible.

Tested with LO 5.2.0.4 on Windows 7 and Ubuntu 14.04.

Comment 4 Cor Nouws 2016-08-22 10:33:21 UTC
I confirm the problem. I only shows an empty rectangle.

When saved as PPT in Powerpoint, the WordArt is shown (- though a bit blurry)

Same in daily from 2016-08-16 and LibreOffice 3.3.0.4
Comment 5 Ofir 2017-11-10 00:43:57 UTC
Still reproducible with LO 6.0.0.0.alpha1.
Comment 6 Luke 2018-09-03 18:38:01 UTC
Szymon,
Is this something you'd be interested in looking at?

We are not importing the line properties of WordArt. When you have white text on a white background with a color line, we end up with invisible object imported. You can see this here, by going to attachment 126867 [details] clicking on the Textbox -> Area -> Fill -> Solid Blue. Vola the text appears.
Comment 7 Ofir 2019-05-24 22:02:07 UTC
Still reproducible in:

Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha1
Build ID: 547edd20e527fb02900f6174973770d26306e2e7
CPU threads: 1; OS: Linux 4.18; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: en-US (en_IL); UI-Language: en-US
Comment 8 NISZ LibreOffice Team 2021-01-25 08:21:26 UTC
This is not WordArt, but character effect in PP. There is a similar character property in Impress.
