Description lukas.wischounig 2016-08-17 12:00:02 UTC
Allow also custom calculations in the status bar - e.g. RESULT = MAX(SELECTION)-MIN(SELECTION)
Comment 1 Buovjaga 2016-09-15 19:07:38 UTC
So I take it this is referring to when you select cells with numbers and by default you see in the status bar: Average and Sum. Then you can select other calculations by right clicking that section.

Do you have a more detailed proposal on how exactly this would happen?

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the information.

Hi Buovjaga,

i think you simply should have a "custom function" choice in the right click menu (where standard entries are) with editing the function when klicking on it.

Sounds interesting, although kind of gimmick. Status to NEW, and needsDevEval for the feasibility. I would say such a feature should rather be realized per extension.

No reply from dev, setting to WONTFIX. Bug 113828 requests customization of the status bar where easy access to macros should be added.
