Old version 5.1 good work interface!
After update 5.2 interface too very slow lost figure and tables, buttons too !!

DE: MATE 1.12.0
CPU: Intel Core2 CPU 6600 @ 2.4GHz
GPU: GeForce 9500 GT
RAM: 2488MB / 4960MB

This is probably the same issue as bug 101213.
You can test the fix with prerelease version 5.2.1.1 or a daily build, see the other bug report for details.
