Loading the same exact files in v5.1.0.3 does not produce this sluggish effect. Tried different character sets with no change. Remove column one at a time and found no difference in speed. I can send a steriized copy of this file for examination. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Load file 2. 3. Actual Results: Sluggish performance in 5.2.0.4 but normal in 5.1.0.3. Scrolling just a few lines causes the lines to scroll at a rate of about 1 line/sec so scrolling a page of data could take over 30 seconds. No delay takes place when using v5.1.0.3. Created attachment 127127 [details] This a file that will demonstrate the problem described. This file cause the described problem in Calc v5.2.0.4 but NOT in Calc v5.1.0.3 .
Just a guess: Nvidia graphics card and proprietary driver? Then this likely will be fixed with 5.2.1
If so, then duplicate of bug 101213
Downloaded and installed v5.2.1.2 and found the problem appears to have been resolved. The offending file posted above loads, displays and can be manipulated normally and without any display delays. Thanks.
