Links (to local files) are simply not exported to pdf. It was OK in 5.1, it's broken in 5.2 and 5.2.1 release versions.
I just inserted a hyperlink to a document in Impress (v5.2.1.2 / Windows 7), and the exported PDF had the link. Can you give more detailed reproduction steps, and/or a sample presentation with link that disappears from the exported PDF?
You are right. I tried it with a simple case and it worked. However with my 70 page presentation the problem still existed. I think I've found the cause: if there are hidden slides (i had many) in the presentation the pdf export doesn't contain the links to local files. A soon as I deleted the hidden slides the pdf export contained the previosly missing links. Windows 10, LibreOffice 5.2.1.2

Another find: I've attached a two slide presentation, the same gfx objects are on both slides, but they are grouped on the first slide, ungrouped on the second slide. The link on the grouped objects (first slide) isn"t exported to pdf, the link on an un grouped object (largest rectangle of the former group) is exported correctly. Assumption: link export doesn't work on links which are on groups.
So this is a different issue than the first, right? Can you provide a simple example for the first one? The second issue seems to be the same as described in bug 44888.
