Description lauzonp 2016-09-08 19:31:19 UTC
I originally posted a question regarding crash on save here:
https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/62398/calc-version-5032-often-crash-when-saving/

It has been over six months and a few upgrades later (now at 5.0.5.2), I am still having the problem constantly.

Several times a week, I try to save random documents (with no particular size or content), Calc crashes and I loose all my changes.

I am running it on Windows 8.1 on a standard hard disk (not network drive).

First, you may upgrade to a even more recent LO version.
Then you may take a look to https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps

To retrieve a bt, you can take a look to https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information#Windows:_How_to_get_a_backtrace

Yep. The Windows builds of 5.2 even have a crash reporter, so you do not have to do backtracing yourself.

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists in 5.2.1. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
