Description Daniel B 2016-09-10 07:49:37 UTC
When I open the landscape orientated version of my photographic note cards, the text is correct, but all images (my photograph and my printing company's logo) are rotated in a portrait orientation. The portrait orientated versions of my note cards open correctly. It's only the landscape orientated cards.

This second attachment is opened and exported with Publisher 2007, and how the file should look.

Sorry, new to this and I didn't realize if I uploaded a second attachment that it would replace the first one.
Comment 3 Aron Budea 2016-09-15 02:57:13 UTC
It doesn't replace previous attachment by default, only when you check the corresponding checkbox below "Obsoletes". No worries, the file is still accessible, just not shown in the Attachments list.

Could you upload a sample in publisher format as well? Doesn't have to be the same file, any file is fine that exhibits the bug.

Publisher 2007 file correctly oriented

As per requested, here is the M$ Publisher file oriented correctly.
Comment 5 Aron Budea 2016-09-17 21:17:05 UTC
Confirmed with LibreOffice 5.1.2.2 and 4.0.0.3 / Windows 7.

I also noticed that rotating the image doesn't change its orientation.
If the image is copied in let's say, a Writer document, again, rotating doesn't change its orientation. Moreover, it has different context menu than an image inserted from a file.

Saving the document shows that the image is referenced in styles.xml as some kind of style as opposed to an image inserted from a file, which would be referenced in content.xml.

Most likely it's a shape fill.

So is there a fix or workaround for this issue? As a self-employed artist, I need to create some new Note Cards, and would like to stop using M$ Publisher as soon as I possibly can, as I have to go through Parallels Desktop which is VERY slow. Thank you.
