hi, installed the app on Android 6 cm13 snapshot from fdroid, and it lookes like the integraded file manager (open a file) is not very good working: first of all: you can only see two items with big icons in one row, whitch makes it very inefficient to search one file in a very long list. secondly the app doesn't decodes between touch and drag gesture's the rightcway, thathow you want to scroll in a list of files/folders and the app just opens one of them. and last you shoulsnt display hidden files starting with a . also a recent opened files which includes the files opend to the internal file open view and that opened through intents would be nice. thanks

There is now a way to choose "grid" or "list" in the file explorer. This is now solved. LO for Android shows recent files at the top of the File Explorer view. > > thanks You're welcome. I propose that we mark this bug RESOLVED and open a new bug for to add an option to show/hide hidden files in File Explorer view.
Changing the description of this bug to make it clear what still needs to be done. Otherwise the bug description provides almost no information on what needs to be done. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open LibreOffice Viewer for Android 2. Notice that hidden files are shown 3. Search app for a way to hide them 4. Notice that there is no such option Expected behavior: There should be an option to show/hide hidden files.
