example doc

Simply put:

Say I have a table at the bottom of a page #1. If I increase font size, write a long entry in a cell (that needs additional line), etc. and table has to split and partially move to another page (say 1 row moves to page #2) Writer crashes and immediatelly sugests to recover my documents (which is not always successful).

If recovery is successful I can in fact see the table modification has been successful. Just that writer crashed for some reason...

Take the attached doc for example. in page #2 there is a table. Mark empty cells and change font size to, say, 12. Writer should die (at least it does on my laptop)

OS: LinuxMint Sarah (18).

[ bug sounds kind of similar to https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37430 just my version is much newer ]

It looks better in 5.3 . However it feels risky to be working with development version :) Especially when it's so far from being available via official LinuxMint PPAs...

Anyways.. thanks.

Hello Netikras,
Thanks for testing it in master.
In case you use it for your daily work, then I'd recommend you to use Libreoffice Fresh http://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/?version=5.2.2 which is a stable version too.
Thanks

Okay, this is getting really annoying...

Calc in the version of LO I've been suggested to install is doing hell knows what instead of being responsive. I try to select a block of cells and it freezes. HTOP tells me that calc is completely hogging one of my CPU cores (so one thread is being veeery busy) for like 10-15 seconds. Then Calc starts responding and either select the block I wanted or does something randomly, i.e. selects a random cell in the view.

Calc CPU usage

I'm on SkyLake i7 processor, so I really do not want to believe my computer is too weak.
