Description Michael 2016-10-18 06:02:43 UTC
Description:
If you use print preview in Calc, the title bar gains the extraneous string ": 2", and it becomes ": 3" after closing the print preview

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open calc, save the blank document as cookie.ods
2. Observe that the title bar reads: cookie.ods - LibreOffice Calc
3. Start the print preview with File -> Print Preview
4. Observe that the title bar now reads: cookie.ods : 2 - LibreOffice Calc
5: Close the print preview
6. Observe that the title bar now reads: cookie.ods : 3 - LibreOffice Calc

Actual Results:
There is an extra string ": 2" in the title bar while in print preview, and it becomes ": 3" after exiting print preview. Restarting Calc and reopening the file clears it.

Expected Results:
The : 2 or : 3 should not appear

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
This behaviour is found in the 64-bit windows version 5.1.1.3, and also in 5.1.6.1.0 from Fedora 24's 64-bit repository.

This is a low priority but confusing bug, as there is no : 2 or : 3 in the filename.

Hello Michael, *,
thank you for reporting this bug :)

I can confirm it with

OS: Debian Testing AMD64
LO (tested several, but can reproduce it back to): Version: 4.4.1.2
Build-ID: 45e2de17089c24a1fa810c8f975a7171ba4cd432
Gebietsschema: de_DE
(parallel installed,, following the instructions from https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel/Linux)
so setting "Status" to "New" and "Version" to that one. My next oldest, installed version (4.3.7.2) does not show this behaviour (but they have not that "Print preview" but a page preview feature).
HTH
Thomas.
