Description loic.machado 2016-10-24 08:58:51 UTC
Description:
In Draw, I draw a schema with a Rectangle Box and Text in it.
On text I add a hyperlink.
The hyperlink's Frame parameter is set to "_parent"
Then I export the schema to a SVG file.
The SVG file contains the link but no property target.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Draw a Rectangle
2.Edit text of this rectangle
3.Select the text (I use Ctrl+A)
4.Click on menu Insert > Hyperlink (I use Ctrl+K)
5.In Form, set the hyperlink value to "https://bugs.documentfoundation.org"
6.In Form, set the Frame value to "_parent"
7.Click on OK button
8.Click on menu : File > Export
9.Select SVG file type
10.Click on save button

Actual Results:
1.Open SVG file with a text editor (I use Notepad++)
2.Look for anchor "a" tag
3.See the xlink property is defined but there is no target property.
4.Re-open Hyperlink Dialog on the text
5.See the Frame value of hyperlink contains nothing

Expected Results:
In SVG file, it should have defined the target property of the hyperlink to "_parent" value.

Reproducible: Always

I canreproduce, that the text in the hyperlink and the hyperlink itself is missing after an export to SVG.

But I can not see either the text or the link in the exported SVG. There is just a rectangle. Even though you can see the link embedded, if you open the SVG with a editor.

The edit mode seems to have changed. If I open the SVG (of the attachment) with LO 5.2, I can select the rectangle as a object. A recent version of Draw lets me only select the whole page.

This happens when opening the SVG in LibreOffice, but it already happens in an old version like 4.4.

It is true, but seems maybe more correct: you can then right-click - Break it.

Thanks for the hint to the "Break" command :)

Dear loic.machado,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa
