SEH exception: access violation. This error occurs when saving a form that contains a basic macro assigned to an event of an action button. If no macro is assigned, there is no error. I tried it with new simple forms and I always get the same behaviour. Windows 7, Libre Office 5.1.5, 5.1.6, HSQLDB externale
Do you use external forms (created by Writer) or internal forms of Base? Could you attach the code of the macro and a simple form, which you have created and could be saved without macro, but couldn't be saved with the macro?
Thank you for the question. Now I have two databases that fail and one that doesn't. I will investigate more details
Created attachment 128968 [details] HSQLDB external database Enclosed is a simple comprehensive database, which contains a form with an action button with a macro assigned. If you edit the button event content and then save the form you will get the error 'SEH Exception: access violation' and the program will crash. I have tested with different forms and different databases of this type and the behavior is always the same.

Congratulations! version 3.3 is fine. I have created, edited and executed forms with macros assigned without errors. Thank you
