Description Iván Baldo 2016-11-02 17:35:45 UTC
Description:
When opening an ODS for the first time, changing a value, then saving, it is extremely slow to save; after that, the next changes and saves go fast.
Tried 5.1.4.2 as it comes in Ubuntu 16.04 AMD64 up to date, 5.2.2.2 from your website in a Ubuntu 16.04 Live (that is, pristine Linux and empty new user profile) and 5.3.0.0 alpha 1 from your website today.
Doesn't happen in 4.3.3.2 as shipped in Debian Jessie (current stable) up to date.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open slowness.ods
2. change value in cell L75
3. save

Actual Results:
The save is too slow.

Expected Results:
Instant save.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
Didn't try other OSs (Windows for example) or other architectures (i386 for example).

Hello.
Why it doesn't happen in Debian Jessie 4.3.3.2 but it does happen in 4.3.0.0.alpha1+?
Thanks a lot!!!

Comment 5 Iván Baldo 2017-06-29 19:43:06 UTC
It doesn't happen anymore with 5.4.0.1 (in fact, it was fixed earlier but I don't know the exact version, sorry).
Thanks!
