Created attachment 128535 [details]
document with size DIN A5 and two images

Open attached document. It contains 1 page of size DIN A5 with 2 images.
File > Print. Set your printer to DIN A4 and check "Use only paper size from printer preferences" on tab 'Options'.
Goto tab 'Page Layout' and set 'Pages per sheet' to 2 and 'Order' to 'left to right'.
Goto tab General. Set Pages to 1,1.
If you now print, you will notice, that the images are cut on their right half. You need not actually print. Drag the printing dialog larger and you can see already in the preview, that parts of the images are missing.

The problem might have the same root cause as bug 103738. But because I do not know that, I report this problem separate.

Images are not visible at all in 5.2, but they are shown whole in 5.3
I set to NEW and leave it for you to decide how to proceed.

Hello Regina,
I think this issue was introduced by my commit 23dfb9e14571d96f9bd23d178f397ee35c36f686 and later fixed by Thorsten in commit 5d1a788468ef94cd1de4400d3c1e38d768f7bf8d. Could you please check that it's correct now?
