Description distefanom 2016-11-11 10:53:54 UTC
Description:
After opening a Draw document, I left it open on the desktop (and gone away) for 3 hours (maybe more). Upon my return, I tried to close the document.
LibreOffice gave me an unrecoverable exception error and stopped.
To get out from it, I have to use the CTRL-ALT-DEL and select the process to stop it. I did it several times.
Upon reopening the document, LibreOffice said to me that the file was corrupted and it have to RECOVER the document.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open a drawing
2.leave it open and let the screensaver activates, wait several hours
3.come back and try to close the document

Actual Results:
LibreOffice DRAW will crash

Expected Results:
I expect the document to be closed flawlessy.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Have you reproduced this yourself or was it a one time thing? Can you manage to freeze Draw every time you follow you're own repro steps? A one time crash isn't usually very useful for confirming and fixing issues.

It does not ask you to send a crash report?
Comment 3 distefanom 2016-11-21 13:27:08 UTC
No,
I do have to *STOP* the program, as I said, using the task manager.

@distefanom: do you still encounter this problem with current stable versions 5.4 or 6.0 ?

Status set to NEEDINFO, please set it back to UNCONFIRMED once requested
informations are provided.

Best regards. JBF

Ok, so no crash, only freeze; changed summary accordingly.
