Ever since I upgraded to LO ver 5.2.3.3 a few weeks ago I have had an intermittent problem launching LO. If I launch LO from the Win 10 desktop icon or start menu it displays a blank window with just "LibreOffice" on the top line. If I try to launch by opening a document or a spreadsheet it again opens a totally blank window with just the file name on the top line. I have been able to fix it using the repair option in Win control panel programs app and then it opens correctly with the LO splash screen with a big green 5 for version 5. But after a while the launch problem comes back. About 2 weeks ago I uninstalled LO and reinstalled 5.2.3.3. It was ok until today when the problem has come back and it looks like I will have to uninstall and reinstall LO again. Help.
Please try resetting the user profile, sometimes solves strange issues. https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile Usually it's enough renaming/deleting the file "user/registrymodifications.xcu", it affects all the options in Menu/Tools/Options, and the files "user/basic/dialog.xlc" and "scrip.xlc" are overwritten, additionally custom colors in "user/config/standard.soc" are lost.
Your suggestion for resetting the profile seems to have worked. I haven't had the problems since. Thanks for your help and apologies for delay in reporting the outcome. I am closing this bug report
