aligment is correct too using LibO 5.4.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) Build ID: 7aa2b5a041df8e71a435cccbc79ee13799ec9138 CPU Threads: 8; OS Version: Windows 6.1; UI Render: default; Layout Engine: new; TinderBox: Win-x86_64@62-TDF, Branch:MASTER, Time: 2016-11-24_11:40:27 Locale: it-IT (it_IT); Calc: CL maybe a WinNT specific bug? I remember someone telling me that WinNT means Windows Neanderthal... just kidding... :-) @Telesto do you have the chance to test on another computer with a different Windows version?
I have clue what the cause could be. I retested it on WinXP. Same issue: Version: 5.3.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: 43b5ca69aa545cf93eded55258d92d651917815f CPU Threads: 1; OS Version: Windows 5.1; UI Render: default; Layout Engine: new; TinderBox: Win-x86@62-merge-TDF, Branch:MASTER, Time: 2016-11-18_05:27:05 Locale: nl-NL (nl_NL); Calc: group On MacOS it's working fine with a recent Master and LibO 5.2.3.3. Maybe we should get some more conformation with LibO 5.2.3.3 (on Windows)?
no misalignment using LibO 5.2.3.3 under Win7 x64 I notice however that the font of the right side is rendered differently than on your screenshots
Created attachment 129181 [details] screenshot in 5.4.0 alpha: font issue here's a screenshot from 5.4.0.0 alpha (but in 5.2.3.3 is the same) under Win7 x64
@tommy27 You're right. The seems to be font related. When I replace "Dutch 801 SWA" with "Segoe UI Symbol" the spacing problem is solved. Rendering of "Harlow Solid Italic" is also different, but isn't the cause of the issue; I think.
back on testing on Win8.1 x64 I confirm the bug alignment bug was present as said in comment 3 I had no Dutch 801 SWA Font now I installed Dutch 801 SWA Font (all 4 variants) from http://www.fontpalace.com and the alignment bug is gone. however I still see that instead of a Dutch 801 SWA Font, an Harlow Solid Italic Font is used in that file. compare the different font look in your screenshot, in the screenshot from Jacques and mine.
