Description:
How to reproduce:

Lets say Standard Selection is selected. 
When i press the selection button on the status toolbar to change type of selection, it will automatically change it to "Extending Selection". 
This happens every time, no matter which type of selection is selected.


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create new document
2. Pick any selection from status toolbar
3. Open the selection menu
4. Selected Selection type will now automatically be the next one

Actual Results:  
Next selection type is selected

Expected Results:
Just want the selection menu to open up, not change by itself


Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No
