Actual Results: Some of the text is very difficult to read (black-on-dark-grey). Expected Results: The information should be easy to read. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/55.0.2883.87 Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36
The background color of the About window depends on the Theme set for the Unity desktop environment.

Created attachment 129897 [details] LibreOfficeDev5.3 on Ubuntu16 w/ Unity Arc-dark theme The bad news is it's not just the About window. Light-on-dark desktop themes don't work well with LibreOffice controls and toolbars. The background changes to dark but the symbol color stays dark also. It should become light for contrast. The good news is everything looks fine with the default Ubuntu themes (they are dark-on-light).
Created attachment 129898 [details] LibreOfficeDev5.3 About on Ubuntu16 w/ dark-background theme This is the window that originally prompted this. This is not a default Unity color theme. Other applications have an alternative light icon color for use with dark-background desktop themes.
