Description:
Using a doc or docx file, the word counter works only with selected text.

Steps:
1) Open a text document (the issue is reproducible only with doc and docx)
2) Look at the word counter in the status bar

Expected
The counter shows the real number of chars and words.

Actual
The counter shows 0 chars and 0 words.

Dieterp, this bug report is for the Online product, the meta bug is for LibreOffice itself.

Marina, this is now fixed by the following patch, and should work after the next update: https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/32884/
