Created attachment 130456 [details] Before the bug As a prerequisite of representing the bug: last paragraph of the text is separated from the rest text by a horizontal line (see shot1.png). I put cursor at the end of the last paragraph and press Enter. After this the paragraph which was the last is erroneously also separated (see shot2.png) from the new last paragraph of the text. So instead of one horizontal line we erroneously have two. The worst thing is that seemingly there is no way to remove this last (erroneous) horizontal line.

Hello Victor, Thank you for reporting the bug. Please attach a sample document, as this makes it easier for us to verify the bug. I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once the requested document is provided. (Please note that the attachment will be public, remove any sensitive information before attaching it. See https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FAQ#How_can_I_eliminate_confidential_data_from_a_sample_document.3F for help on how to do so.)
Hm, well, I tried to replicate the bug. I described the bug wrongly. Instead it appears if I insert (by pressing minus key three times and then Enter) a horizontal line at the end of the text. The horizontal line "multiplies" (becomes two horizontal lines) after I press Enter at the end of the last paragraph. The real bug is that there is no way to remove the horizontal line at the end of the text.
Created attachment 130458 [details] A sample document The superfluous horizontal line appears if I press Enter when the cursor is at the end of the attached document. There is not way to remove this last horizontal line.
I think, you created a border of the paragraph. You can remove it as follows: Format => Paragraph => Borders In the dialog you can see the line and now it is easy to remove it. Changed to WORKSFORME
No, I have surely not created a border. I entered three dashes and pressed Enter. This creates a horizontal line not border.
Oh, sorry, dieterp. Three dashes and Enter really create border rather than simple horizontal line. It is a counter-intuitive behavior, handling three dashes.
