Description: When creating a new Writer doc LibreOffice hangs with rotating big dot. Need to use Force Quit to clear it. Calc and draw appear to work This is a brand new iMac 21.5 Steps to Reproduce: 1.bring up Libre 2.Click Create Writer Doc in the side bar 3. Empty doc comes up 4.Type anything 5. Hang occurs Actual Results: Hang unable to proceed. @cedscott : your report might be linked to, or a duplicate of, bug 100994. Some attempted workarounds have been: - forcing use of discrete graphics chip, where more than one graphics chip is included in the hardware (see also any energy saving preferences in the OSX system preferences); - experimenting with the colour profiles in the system settings; - trying to launch LibreOffice from the command line (Terminal.app) with the complete path.
