Just installed libreoffice-5.3.0.3-snap1 on UBUNTU 16.04 amd64, Kernel 4.4.0-62 Can't open/save files to default directories except /home/myname. /home "access denied". Cant navigate either into other directories: "access denied" umask=0002 No problems with LO 2.5.xxx Regards hpb

To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and re-test? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present

You should file a bug report against Ubuntu on https://bugs.launchpad.net to see if that is an expected behavior of snap installations. Then, please, report the result here.
