This bug was filed from the crash reporting server and is br-2501f9dc-57fc-4c95-9014-5cf54ce2e6e7. =========================================
Hello Dave, Thank you for reporting the bug. Unfortunately without clear steps to reproduce it, we cannot track down the origin of the problem. Please provide a clearer set of step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce the problem. I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once the steps are provided
Also, please try with a recent version: 5.2.5 or 5.3.0.
That bug is present in all versions as can be seen by the crash reporter. However we need a good reproducer to be able to properly fix it.
Unfortunately, there's no obvious way to reproduce it. I had a document open (a resume). I open a new blank document in another tab, and started editing; then changed my mind, closed it, and opened another new blank document. I did that a 2nd time, and perhaps a 3rd. Then, in the new blank document, I pasted a bit of text from a web page -- and Writer crashed. After recovery, I proceeded to create and save my new document without incident.
I'm returning this to UNCONFIRMED, since the reporter unfortunately can't supply a reproducer, and the bug report shouldn't be caught by the automatic bug-closer mass ping, since there is definitely a bug.
@Dave Burton does this crash happened again using latest LibO 5.2.6 or 5.3.2 releases?
