Description Thomas Lendo 2017-03-06 20:56:14 UTC
Sometimes it is useful to use a wrap setting "text in line" (known from a competitor program) for frames/images/object within a text paragraph.

Wrap text in line behaves as "none wrap" but the text begins instantly at the bottom right of the frame/images/object - and not entirely below the frame/picture.

I will attach a text document with 2 test cases of this feature to see a benefit for real world usage.

So an example:

in stead of

---------frame--
|.............. |
 ...(picture)..
 ..............
 ..............
 ..............
   caption text |
---------frame--

make this possible in a frame

---------frame----------------------------
|.............. caption text/description |
 ...(picture).. |
 ..............
 ..............
 ..............
---------frame----------------------------

thanks for filing, and the document with samples, Thomas!

Example with anchor as character

To me it looks like a simple "anchor as character", see attached file

Huch! Regina, you are right. Thank you! To assign "anchor as character" to pictures/frames resolves this issue.

This feature (no wrap but an anchor feature) is there for at least 10 years and I haven't recognized it ... Sad, very sad! (so to speak like a president)

I'll close this bug as RESOLVED WORKSFORME.
