STR (what were you doing and can you repeat it so we can try?) 2. was there a specific slide or transition causing this? graphics cards: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M, Intel HD Graphics 530 screen resolution: 3840 x 2160 total graphics memory: 8275MB when starting slideshow (function key F5), libreoffice crashes. The error message states: "could not create offscreen surface - out of mem!" This happens regardless of the document that has been opened.

Still need answers to these. I wonder why LibreOffice is using Intel graphics, even though Nvidia is available. Also, might be interesting to try 5.3. You could even use the safe mode: Help - Restart in Safe mode. Set to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided more information.
