Description: I went to your website with my MacBook Pro, using Firefox, and couldn't get your website to progress beyond the donation page. I donated and it gave me a receipt, then it didn't offer another step so I could download your program. When I went back to any step after clicking on the download button phase, I ran into the same roadblock--no way to download the program. I'm going to switch internet platforms to see if it is a Firefox related problem. Steps to Reproduce: 1. clicked on a button from a Google search to access your website. 2. clicked on the button to download the program and was shuttled over to the donation request page. 3. donated money 4. printed receipt 5 looked for a way to get the program to download. Nothing happened. tried it again several times and began work to find your complaint mechanism. Actual Results: No download of Libre Office Expected Results: Getting the download of Libre Office to my computer. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No. I'll try it on Google Chrome and see if I run into the same roadblock. Additional Info: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0
Tried it on Google Chrome and it still won't go past the donation page. clicking on "start" doesn't do anything other than refreshing the donation page. Wish I could download your program.
Were you using http://www.libreoffice.org/download/ ? Donations are not required for download (but the Document Foundation is thankful for it). What was the download link? It is in the top of the page: "Your download LibreOffice_5.3.1_MacOS_x86-64.dmg should begin shortly." The file name might have been different if you chose a different version. It's clickable, so try again and click on it. If the download still doesn't start, copy the link in the reply here.
Direct links to the TDF archive are here: http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/5.3.1.2/mac/x86_64/ But we'd like to know why your browser would not complete the pop-up download--it is not tied to completing any step on the contribution page. Just landing on it should prompt you for the download--and then download if you told it to allow it. I just checked and the current 5.3.1.2 64-bit build for macOS is offered and downloads from Firefox when approved for download in the browser.
