The Decroise extension allows Calc to unpivot tables no longer works in 5.3 or 5.4. When run one gets an edit screen saying that there is a "Basic syntex error. Expected:)." As an accountant, this extension is an important tool in being able to combine and analyze data from a table or multiple tables. [Once unpivoted, one can combine data from various tables to perform pivot table analyses or import into Base.] My preference would be for the unpivot to be made part of Libreoffice pivot table feature, but if not, it would be appreciated to make a fix so that the extension will function as intended.
Hi Brant Maltby, As reported for some other extensions in Bug 106529 - LibO 5.3.1.x breaks extensions for changes in BASIC parser since bug#80731 - missing closing parenthesis in Basic expressions is now considered to be an error (which it really is) instead of being silently ignored. Decroise's author has to be informed and correct the code. Would you be so kind to do it? Thank you, Jacques
