Hi. Currently LibreOffice Draw has no eraser enable user to erase original contents of PDF, like - but not limited to - scanned PDF. Please can you add this important feature? It is very important that use of such eraser should not result in increase size of PDF or lower down resolution of PDF at saving (exportation). Eraser should be available in 2 shaps: circular & square. Also, it should leave no trace for the erased content (so called "secure reduction"). Best.
I don't understand your request. You can simple open a PDF document with Draw and then delete what you want using the Supr button. Could you please provide more information about it, and how it should be implemented into LibreOffice? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once the information is provided
LibreOffice Draw is a vector drawing application, not a PDF editor. This eraser thing doesn't make any sense for it, as one can already remove any part of a drawing.
I can only remove image (complete image). If per a page there are 5 images then I can currently remove one of them, 3 of them, all of them BUT I CAN NOT REMOVE OR DELETE PART OF ONE OF THEM ONLY. Let we suppose we have pdf page contain one image (scanned book paper). I like to erase a line within this image. I can not ! I can delete image as a whole. For that I request eraser. I do not think this interfere with fact that LO is vector graphic editor. If I'm wrong & there is possibility to erase a line within an image (single image), can you explain it to me please ?
