Sporadic data loss with base document when macro, form, and table view is open. It somehow writes half of the database file and then freezes. One has to kill the process. Here the stack of soffice.bin, if this helps: ntoskrnl.exe!KeSynchronizeExecution+0x3de6 ntoskrnl.exe!KeWaitForMutexObject+0xc7a ntoskrnl.exe!KeWaitForMutexObject+0x709 ntoskrnl.exe!KeWaitForMutexObject+0x375 ntoskrnl.exe!KeTestAlertThread+0x16f8 ntoskrnl.exe!KeWaitForMutexObject+0x263a ntoskrnl.exe!KiCheckForKernelApcDelivery+0x21 ntoskrnl.exe!KeLeaveCriticalRegion+0x42 NTFS.sys+0xcabc9 FLTMGR.SYS!FltIsCallbackDataDirty+0x315 FLTMGR.SYS!FltQueryInformationFile+0x737 ntoskrnl.exe!NtSetEvent+0x16c6 ntoskrnl.exe!ObReferenceObjectByHandleWithTag+0x3382 ntoskrnl.exe!ObOpenObjectByNameEx+0x1ec ntoskrnl.exe!ObOpenObjectByName+0x488 ntoskrnl.exe!NtCreateFile+0x79 ntoskrnl.exe!_setjmpex+0x3983 ntdll.dll!ZwCreateFile+0x14 wow64.dll+0x44c8 wow64.dll!Wow64SystemServiceEx+0x155 wow64cpu.dll!TurboDispatchJumpAddressEnd+0xb wow64.dll!Wow64LdrpInitialize+0x212 wow64.dll!Wow64LdrpInitialize+0x120 ntdll.dll!EtwEventProviderEnabled+0x1821 ntdll.dll!memset+0x15d6d ntdll.dll!LdrInitializeThunk+0xe I cannot reliably reproduce this.
The odb file hass only the folders "reports", "forms", "Configuration2", all with some folders and files beneath, and a file "mimetype" in the main folder.
Hello Gerhard, Thank you for reporting the bug. Please attach a sample document, as this makes it easier for us to verify the bug. I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once the requested document is provided. (Please note that the attachment will be public, remove any sensitive information before attaching it. See https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FAQ#How_can_I_eliminate_confidential_data_from_a_sample_document.3F for help on how to do so.)
I have difficulties reproducing this (which is good on one hand). Whenever it happens again I will attach the odb file (without macros and private data)
