Description Mohith Manoj 2017-05-10 08:33:50 UTC
Situation
* An image is inserted into a text document.
* The image is cropped within writer.
* This image is replaced (Context menu > Replace..)

Expected outcome
* Old image is replaced with new one and the crop is reset.
OR
* Old image is replaced with new image, the crop is retained however the aspect ratio of the new image is not disturbed.

Observed outcome
* Old image is replaced with new image.
* Crop is reset.
* Old image width and height is applied to the new image without respecting the aspect ratio.

It's not very difficult to resolve this, take image properties and correct the aspect ratio in the 'Crop' tab. Similar to the behavior in Imress (Bug 107746) but not as severe.

try latest LibO 5.2.7 or 5.3.2 and tell if issue persists
