Hi! 

There is no option for adjusting the space between the columns in the column chart. If provided it will be useful to build histogram (Reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Histogram) from the column chart option. 

Please provide some option to adjust the space between the columns in column chart.

Similar example

Hi,

Double click into the second chart to edit it. You have to get a grey border.
Click into a column. You get a green square into all columns.
Right click to get the contextual menu.
Choose "Format Data Series..."
In Options tab, Set Spacing to 0%. Click OK.
You must get the same view than in the first Chart.
