Description: It's reported before (and related to bug 107772), but the saving dialog can get total unresponsive (and needs to be closed in the task manager). The issue is quite hard to reproduce. I can only reproduce it after rebooting and launching LibO Steps to Reproduce: 1. Reboot Windows 2. Launch LibreOffice 2. Open Writer 3. Press the save button in the toolbar (save dialog pops up) 4. Keeps the dialog open; and minimize LibreOffice (and to something else for around 20 sec) 5. Go back and press cancel. The dialog should not respond Actual Results: Save dialog gets unresponsive Expected Results: Save dialog should always be responsive Reproducible: Sometimes User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Found in Version: 5.4.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: 970b431f1a7b6b96c4c9536657ce4fe9d8f5b585 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.2; UI render: default; TinderBox: Win-x86@62-TDF, Branch:MASTER, Time: 2017-05-11_23:07:53 Locale: en-US (nl_NL); Calc: single http://crashreport.libreoffice.org/stats/crash_details/6abe8b84-983e-4ca0-be23-da532f55179a http://crashreport.libreoffice.org/stats/crash_details/0dbf021a-fc12-41af-a079-3e441f9f8129 User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0
I was not able to repro. I wonder, if it is related to bug 107772. Same repro route: leave save dialog open for a while.. I also wasn't able to reproduce it (LO 5.4.0.0Beta1). But I also couldn't keep the dialog open and minimize LO at the same time.
Setting to WFM for now. Didn't encounter it for a while
I found the culprit. A broken msonsext.dll. http://crashreport.libreoffice.org/stats/crash_details/92a56236-62d6-474b-87fe-9988c885c733 http://solvedproblems.hydex11.net/old/22_Random_Windows_7_crashes_on_Save_As_dialog.htm
