Description Hamid 2017-05-16 00:36:04 UTC
Hello,

Pressing Ctrl changes paragraph text direction. It does so even in combinations before keying in the next keypress such as in Ctrl+Shift. Saving the document suppresses the anomaly for some time until it reappears.

Upgraded but when I check the About Libreoffice:

Version: 5.3.1.2
Build ID: 1:5.3.1-0ubuntu2
CPU Threads: 4; OS Version: Linux 4.10; UI Render: default; VCL: gtk3; Layout Engine: new;
Locale: fa-IR (fa_IR); Calc: group

BTW This error message or warning appears in the log of upgrade:

$ sudo dpkg -i *.deb
…
Processing triggers for shared-mime-info (1.8-1) ...
Unknown media type in type 'all/all'
Unknown media type in type 'all/allfiles'
…

Is it actually upgraded?

I upgraded using the libreoffice PPA and the upgrade is done. Now it takes a while to check if the problem recurs.

Upgrade seems to have solved the issue. Although with a caveat: I have changed GTK3 skin to KDE. I change the status since there was no other report.
