Description:
LibreOffice, now two days ahead of time
---------------------------------------

Attached are two LibreOffice spreadsheets named "Fido call history 2017.ods" and "Temporary copy.ods", from now on referred to as "file F" anf "file T". They deal with my habit of keeping track of my cellphone calls with Fido, my cellphone service provider. Creation of file F was started on 04 March 2017 and updated on 21 May 2017. File T was "created" on 21 May 2017 by just copying the latest call data (not yet listed in file F) from my Fido account website. After doing this, I copied the contents of file T to file F. Please, open both files and take a close look at the date - i.e. the left-most - column: Do you notice that for each call, the date in file F is two days ahead from the equivalent date in file T?

I have the strong suspicion that there is a problem with your latest spreadsheet update. I am not sure if the following observation is of any help in solving the problem: When I right-click any of the dates in either of the two files, then select "Format/Cells.../Numbers", "Date" is shown as "Category" and "Default - English (USA)" as "Language". However, in file T, "01/02/00 01:37PM" is shown as "Format" while in file F, "12/31/99 01:37PM" is the "Format".

I would greatly appreciate an explanation, and even more, a solution to the above-described problem,

Guenter Wey, a user of LibreOffice since the days of Staroffice

 To Comment # 3 on bug 108006 from m.a.riosv:

There is only one spreadsheet attached, please add the second one.

My response, which I tried before to send to you, but apparently in vain:
The "only one spreadsheet" you are referring to is actually a copy of both spreadsheets, with their titles on top of each. I was prevented from attaching the actual spreadsheets because Firefox allegedly was not capable of doing this.

I don't know what you have tried before, but send private emails should be used only to send some private data/file for test purpose or something similar. BTW remember that we are volunteers.

I think you are talking about two files with different behavior, or a file with two sheets. I don't know, but there is only one spreadsheet with one sheet.

In any case the issue with your file seems that in some way the option Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice Calc/Calculate/Date, has been changed to 12/30/1899 from 01/01/1900, selecting the second one shows correct values, right?
