Description putt1ck 2017-05-25 10:14:42 UTC
When searching for double spaces, search matches all single spaces. Also tried with 3 and 4 spaces with same results. Tested on the Nextcloud corporate installation and the public demo hosted by Pydio.

Hi puttick,

Open Search & Replace or type Ctrl+H and enter, without quotes:
" {1,3}".
1 defines the minimal and 3 the maximal number times you want to find the character before the brace. Tick Regular expressions in Other options.

Hi puttick,

I guess this solved your issue. I Close this report as Works for me.

I resolved it by downloading and using LibreOffice Search and Replace.

With my IT support hat on, I can't call using regexp a solution, because end users are never going to accept it. They might act as instructed to get around the issue, but it'd go on the "that open source software is crap we should have gone with Microsoft" list
