Created attachment 133583 [details] Screenshot comparing layout on Writer and Word Viewer Those two tables on the RTF file have wrong horizontal position in LO Writer 5.3.3.2 in Windows 10 64-bit Creators Update when compared to layout at Word Viewer. Attached the RTF doc and screenshot pointing out the layout differences.

Created attachment 133649 [details] a second versie. Hi Ari, Tables 5 and 6 were not centered, even if they appear as such in Word. Jacques
Table 6 seem to be 0,62cm too far left for two reasons: A) Table is not on frame as it is on MS Word and thus "Text wrapping: Around" not available, which on MS Word then again commands horizontal positioning to be 0.37cm relative to margin and -0,03cm vertical related to Paragraph. B) LO Writer configures Table spacing to -0,25 from Left, which moves table even more left. Table 5 seems to be 0,24cm too far left because instead of honoring alignment to left with "Text Wrapping: None" with 0,3cm indent from left LibreOffice Writer defines instead to "From left" only 0.06cm. If that value is corrected manually to 0,3cm, table is at right position.
Table 5 looks fine in Versie: 4.4.6.3 Build ID: e8938fd3328e95dcf59dd64e7facd2c7d67c704d Locale: nl_NL
A bit confused: Is bug 108094 a dupe of this one?
(In reply to Telesto from comment #5) > A bit confused: Is bug 108094 a dupe of this one? No, these are two totally different bugs, even though about the same document. This one is about incorrect table horizontal position, other one about incorrect vertical alignment for text in table.
Problem is partially fixed on LO 5.4.0.3 running on Windows 10 64-bit Creators update. Now only the table 6 is too far left, apparently because table is not on frame as it is on MS Word and thus "Text wrapping: Around" not available, which on MS Word then again commands horizontal positioning to be 0.37cm relative to margin and -0,03cm vertical related to Paragraph.
DOC version of the document imports also frame containing Table 6 but on DOC version frame wrapping then again is incorrectly using Page Wrap instead of "Wrap Off" or "Optimal Page Wrap" letting next table to overlap Table 6. This Wrapping bug handled on separate report.
Problem still exists on the latest LO 6.0.4
Problem still valid with LO 6.1.3
Problem still valid on LO 6.2.0.3 for 64-bit Linux
Dear Ari Latvala, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! Warm Regards, QA Team MassPing-UntouchedBug
