Description Jonathan Camilleri 2017-06-04 09:54:04 UTC
Description:
I am unable to find a way to copy and paste the format used in cell G127 to be used in cell G128 within the attached spreadsheet under the tab titled 'Payments'.

The document is confidential.

I am not sure why you close bugs when you are awaiting further information at times, such appears odd to me.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the file
2. Change the format of the date accordingly, this is a common topic on search engines e.g. google.com.mt or yandex.ru
[https://askubuntu.com/questions/614015/libreoffice-calc-date-format-problem]
3. Check the results.

Actual Results:
The date remains the same format.

Expected Results:
The date ought to be changed according to the selected format including copy and paste functionality, similar functionality is available within similar products.

Reproducible: Always

DateTimeCellFormatSample

You have not attached a sample file for test.

I can achieve easily the format with a cell format like:
MM/DD/YY,HH:MM:SS AM/PM
with the cell having the date number value: 42139.3541666667
Attached a sample file

Are you tanking care of the comma, you need to set up saving as csv to enclose text on quotes, because if not the it is treated as to field with comma separator.

Resolved as works for me, please if you have questions about, do them on:
