Description rozmyers 2017-06-09 09:27:08 UTC
Description:
When moving through table, Libreoffice crashes. Happens at some specific point--probably at end of line on right column, but it happens suddenly, so hard to pinpoint. Has been happening (and reported by me through program auto pop-up) for months now.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make a table in text document, insert text
2. Move cursor through table
3. Some sweet spot in furthermost right column or point in column causes crash

Actual Results:
I've reported this before through normal pop-up windows, so should be somewhere in reports.

Expected Results:
Happens.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Hard to replicate unless you're working through table, because there seems to be a sweet spot.

@rozmyers : if the reports you mention are autogenerated on OSX then they do not get submitted to the LibreOffice project, but Apple (who quite frankly doesn't give two hoots about LibreOffice).

It would be helpful if you could copy the content of the report when LO crashes, paste it into a text file and then attach it to this bug report (via the "Add an attachment" link on this page).

It would also be extremely useful if you could provide a sample Writer document where you can reproduce the crash, and include detailed steps on how to crash it. Perhaps it is the number of columns or the general size of the table that is the issue, or some other condition of which we are not aware. Without a sample document, we will not be able to reproduce the circumstances.

As Xisco has mentioned, the version you were using is already obsolete. Please retry with a latest "Fresh" or "Still" release and report back your findings here.
