Description philip 2017-06-18 11:57:30 UTC
This problem started yesterday. I am writing a book and saved my work. It did not save a good portion and now several paragraphs are lost. I thought it might be something I did wrong so I tested it. I added one word and then saved. Still not saving my changes.

I have had ongoing problems with LibreOffice to the point I might have to abandon using it if I keep losing important work.

Thank you for reporting the bug. To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and re-test?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present

I cleared the user profile and it continued to do this. Another piece to this - I was saving using the ODT format.

I uninstalled and then reinstalled the program. I was able to get the file to save changes using the Word docx format.

I have had a number of problems with saving with this product since I started using it and cannot begin to tell you how much time I've wasted trying to recreate really good text and ideas. All lost because it didn't save.

Very discouraged.

Hello,
Is this issue still reproducible with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
