Description:
AAT has font variation to be used to produce multi font weights, styles and size dependent effects. If AAT font has such variations, we should making them presented in a document.

I don't know if it's an enhancement or a bug.

There is like a signle AAT variable font publicly available (Apple’s Skia) and the technology is deprecated with the introduction of OpenType variable fonts (that we already have an issue open for it). So it makes no sense to even try to support AAT variable fonts.
