Description Telesto 2017-06-21 18:29:35 UTC
Description:
LibO will accesses share\extensions\dict-da and dict-hu when hoovering over the toolbar. User interface and local setting are set to English. It won't happen without the (default)language extensions.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Writer
2. Open Process Monitor with filter set to soffice.bin (and start the capture)
3. However with the mouse over standard/formatting toolbar

Actual Results:
share\extensions\dict-da and dict-hu will be accessed for help-files

Expected Results:
Interface language is set to English. So no need reading share\extensions\dict-da and dict-hu (in my opinion)

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Procmon filter

Here is a filter for process name soffice.bin and path contains dict-da and dict-hu.
Load it from Filter - Organize filters - Import.
I get no results.
Do you get any with this?

Still not seeing anything :( I tried with different icon sets, Tango, Breeze, Galaxy, Sifr..
Do you get that with safe mode?
Comment 4 Telesto 2017-06-29 11:19:07 UTC
Use 5.4.0.0rc1 instead of 6.0.0.0. It won't work without the language extensions installed (especially dict-hu and dict-hu).

Ok, I installed these:
https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/stavekontrolden-danish-dictionary
https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/magyar-mondatellenorzo

..but I only get these, which I believe you have reported earlier (?):

C:\Users\test\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice\4\user\uno_packages\cache\uno_packages\lu645219icm.tmp_\dict-da-2-3.oxt

Hmm.. strange. I didn't install separate extensions. The are bundled by default (with pre-releases). However it looks like it's doing the same (dict-da-2-3.oxt\help\da). It's possible I reported it before, but I don't think so.

I can reproduce it with a master build. Buovjaga, installing Hungarian and Danish spellcheckers with LO, or doing a complete install with SI-GUI should be enough.

Nevertheless, I think this and bug 104696 has the same roots, it looks for help stuff, and these dictionaries have "help" subdirectories inside.
