Description:
Currently you need to enter the '=' to get the formulas entered as such, even it is a correct formula

There are keyboard layouts like Spanish with '=' as shift key, it's makes really annoying introduce it.

Even with an English layout you need to enter it, what it's also annoying, specially if you are going to introduce a lot of data on different cells, taking advantage of [enter] key to move to the next cell.

Actual Results:
'=' it's not Auto inserted a the beginning introducing correct formulas without it.

Expected Results:
Auto insert the '=' at the beginning for correct formulas.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I know adding a '+' at the beginning gets a similar effect.

I think it should be nice for everybody but specially for beginners could help a lot to facilitate the work with spreadsheets.

On 123 it's was so from ever.

I don't think this is a good idea as this will become annoying in cases when you don't want to insert a formula, as the '=' will need to be deleted every time. You can always use the '=' icon instead of inserting it using the keyboard.

Do what you like, but

Which are the cases, that you want introduce a valid formula as not a formula?, are you sure it's the usual?

I don't think it is the main purpose of a spreadsheet, and how it's used usually, I'm a spreadsheets user since thirty five years on daily basis, so I can have a more than relevant opinion.

Truly click an icon, every time you enter data in a cell.
