Description ralf.fehlau 2017-06-30 07:25:31 UTC
Installed version is 1:5.1.6~rc2-0ubuntu1~xenial2

Since 6-29-17 I discovered several, not all, fields with Percent formatting, lost its format and resets to standard number format. The fields changed its formatting without any changes made in these fields.

I discovered this effect in several calc documents. I cannot upload one of these documents, because all documents contain private data. I will try to reproduce it with a new document.

I think, there is no straight way to reproduce the bug. I found a similar issue here ... https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/40371/currency-formatting-in-calc-lost-after-saving-and-reopening/

For several weeks no issue occurred, until today. On one sheet, the percentage formatting were lost. After formatting these cells, calc works fine.

I'm afraid, you have to do a code review to examine the error.

Sorry for my late answer. I found this mail in the junk folder.

Version 6 is already installed on my system a while ago. And with this version, I did not observe the problem. I seems to be ok.

Thank you!
Kind regards
Ralf
